Onboarding Specialist

About the role

As an Onboarding Specialist you will guide new Mindbody customers through their software journey, from initial configuration and training to a successful launch. You will act as a trusted partner, delivering virtual onboarding sessions and ensuring each client feels confident using the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Manage onboarding for assigned customers, delivering configuration, training, and support via virtual video sessions.
• Gather customer requirements during kickoff calls and configure their software environment to align with business objectives.
• Identify and recommend additional Mindbody services and products that add value.
• Troubleshoot software challenges and collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to resolve issues.
• Build trust by sharing in‑depth knowledge of Mindbody products, services, and processes.
• Proactively follow up with customers to answer questions, support progress, and schedule ongoing training sessions.
• Stay current on Mindbody software, industry trends, and best practices through continuous learning.

Required profile

• 2+ years of customer service experience in a client‑facing role.
• Strong English communication and time‑management skills.
• Experience delivering training, teaching, or presenting information to individuals or groups.
• Comfortable conducting virtual meetings and building rapport on camera.
• Ability to listen actively, ask thoughtful questions, and solve problems creatively.
• Familiarity with database and internet‑based software, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Proficiency with online communication tools such as email, chat, Zoom, or Google Meet.
• Knowledge of current industry practices and technology trends that impact customer success; experience in boutique fitness studios is a plus.
