Principal Integration Architect

About the role

Mars is looking for a Principal Integration Architect in Guararema, Brazil, to define and govern enterprise-grade integration architectures across its hybrid-cloud ecosystem. The role acts as a segment domain expert for core business areas such as Petcare, Snacking and Food, and champions API-led connectivity and event-driven architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Design and govern integration flows between ERPs (SAP S/4HANA), CRMs (Salesforce), WMS and retail POS systems, with high availability, fault tolerance and low latency.
• Establish reusable integration patterns, templates and frameworks to speed up digital initiatives.
• Lead architecture on SAP BTP Integration Suite, Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure API Management), MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (RAML/OAS, CloudHub), Solace PubSub+ and OpenText B2B/EDI networks.
• Work with DevOps and platform teams on CI/CD pipelines, containerization and infrastructure-as-code.
• Advise business partners, functional leads and external partners, and partner with security, data privacy and compliance teams on OAuth, OIDC, SAML, encryption and GDPR/CCPA.
• Mentor junior architects and developers, run design reviews and steer the technology roadmap.

Required profile

• Minimum 5+ years in a global CPG, retail or manufacturing enterprise, or in architectural consulting for such clients.
• Proven ability to act as a domain expert in order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, supply chain and logistics (including GS1 serialization).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• Professional certifications in relevant technologies are highly desirable.

Required skills

• MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Azure Integration Services and SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• Solace PubSub+ and OpenText B2B/EDI (EDIFACT, ANSI X12, AS2, SFTP).
• REST, SOAP, gRPC, JSON, XML and flat-file integration.
• Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
