Principal Oracle EBS Integration Architect

About the role

Rimini Street is hiring a Principal Oracle EBS Integration Architect for a remote position based in Brazil. The architect builds and owns the integration layer between Rimini Street's Agentic ERP Platform and Oracle E-Business Suite environments, designing connectors, data mappings and transaction flows that let AI agents read from and write to Oracle EBS safely and reliably. The role reports to the VP, Platform Engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Design and own the integration architecture between the Agentic ERP Platform and Oracle EBS, defining which APIs, PL/SQL procedures and interface table operations become agent-consumable tools.
• Design ISG REST wrapper patterns and enforce the Park/Post pattern so writes are staged for human review before committing.
• Implement transaction boundary management, including commit/rollback strategies, concurrent request handling and data consistency guarantees.
• Build and maintain EBS connectors, data validation and transformation logic, and fallback mechanisms such as degraded read-only access and queued writes.
• Manage EBS connections with JDBC pooling, credential handling and multi-instance support.
• Guide MCP Server Developers on EBS tool implementations and define test strategies with mock environments and regression suites.
• Document integration patterns, limitations and troubleshooting guides, and advise on future JD Edwards and Siebel integration phases.
• Collaborate with the SAP Integration Lead, AI Data Engineers, QA Engineers and the Security & Identity Lead.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience with Oracle E-Business Suite, including APIs, interface tables, concurrent programs and data architecture.
• 5+ years of integration engineering experience building APIs, connectors or middleware.
• Experience designing integration architectures for complex, multi-module EBS implementations.
• Fluent English (written and verbal); Portuguese is a plus.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field; Oracle certifications (OCA, OCP or OCI) are desired.

Required skills

• Oracle EBS, PL/SQL, Java 21 with Quarkus 3.x, RESTful APIs, PostgreSQL, OpenTelemetry, Git and CI/CD.
• Preferred: Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) or Oracle Integration Cloud, Model Context Protocol, durable execution patterns (Restate), JD Edwards and Siebel experience, OCI and Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle SOA Suite or Service Bus.
