Product Engineer – Cab, Chassis & Body

About the role

The Cab, Chassis & Body Product Engineer based in Piracicaba joins a global product engineering team that develops cab and operator platform systems for CNH harvesting equipment. You will focus on Case IH Sugar Cane Harvester models while also supporting New Holland and Case IH platforms worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and integrate cab, operator platform, ladder, body panel, styling and vehicle interface components.
• Address interior and exterior cab topics such as visibility, noise, vibration, HVAC and overall ergonomics.
• Translate product requirements, customer needs, regulations and manufacturing inputs into robust engineering solutions.
• Apply materials, manufacturing, welding, heat and surface‑treatment knowledge together with GD&T and DFMEA to ensure design quality.
• Interpret FEA, CFD and NVH analysis results and turn findings into practical design improvements.
• Create and release 3D models, 2D drawings, specifications, BOMs and test requirements.
• Support initial builds, resolve manufacturing or supplier issues and guarantee production readiness.
• Coordinate technical work with engineering, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, validation, service and supplier teams.
• Analyse product issues, identify root causes, define corrective actions and validate solutions.
