Product Validation Engineer II – QA for ChipStack AI

About the role

Join Cadence’s ChipStack AI Super Agent team to develop and execute test plans for an industry‑first agentic AI platform that designs and verifies chips autonomously. You will work on end‑to‑end AI‑driven design and verification workflows, ensuring high quality, robustness, and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and run functional and non‑functional test plans for AI‑driven chip design features.
• Implement automated tests for agentic AI flows, including RTL generation, testbench creation, regression, debugging, and auto‑fix loops.
• Collaborate with R&D to define validation strategies, quality metrics, and cloud/on‑prem deployment tests.
• Reproduce, isolate, and root‑cause complex cross‑domain bugs, providing actionable feedback to product teams.
• Validate scalability, security, and reproducibility of AI workflows in both cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Support early customer evaluations by validating real‑world deployments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in AI‑driven systems and a commitment to software quality.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Portuguese.

Required skills

• Python for test development, automation, and data analysis.
• Unix/Linux environment proficiency.
• Version control using Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of hardware description languages such as SystemVerilog and Verilog.
• Understanding of verification methodologies (UVM, formal verification).
• Performance and API testing experience.
