About the role

The school is looking for a dedicated Mathematics Plantonista to teach high‑school students. The role involves delivering planned lessons, assessing student work, and supporting the school community through various activities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan lessons in advance and send plans to the Head of Level and Academic Coordinator.
• Prepare and organize teaching materials for each class.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date grade book and enter grades by the required deadlines.
• Design and administer monthly assessments for each topic.
• Grade all assigned work and provide feedback.
• Decorate the classroom with relevant educational materials.
• Supervise playground duties as assigned.
• Collaborate with the Psychology Department to support students with academic or behavioral issues.
• Assist students with special needs, including gifted learners, in partnership with the Academic Coordinator and psychologist.
• Participate in meetings, workshops, parent conferences, and school events.
• Record daily attendance and manage homework boards.
• Encourage student participation in sub‑committees and community service projects.
• Communicate openly with students, parents, and staff regarding academic and socio‑emotional matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum two years of teaching experience at secondary level.
• Advanced proficiency in English (speaking, reading and writing).

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital teaching tools.
• Intermediate‑level Microsoft Office skills.
