About the role

The United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN‑Habitat) is seeking a Programme Analyst (Social Work) to support a project in São Gonçalo, Brazil. The consultant will work on‑site at the Ipuca Community outpost, contributing to the implementation of a participatory Action Plan and monitoring urban conditions.

Key responsibilities

Execute project activities in São Gonçalo in line with UN‑Habitat guidelines.
Ensure compliance with security and safety protocols.
Engage local stakeholders and community members to foster participation.
Collect and analyse evidence‑based information on urban trends.
Support the development of the Periferia Viva Programme Action Plan.
Report to the Head of the Brazil Office and coordinate with operational and technical teams.
