Project Manager – ERP Localization (Brazil)

About the role

We are a global industrial technology company seeking a Project Manager – ERP Localization to lead strategic ERP localization initiatives in Brazil. The role combines project management with product ownership of localization solutions, ensuring compliance with Brazil’s tax and regulatory environment while driving continuous system improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in functional processes and systems.
• Oversee a portfolio of IT initiatives, providing consistent status reporting.
• Gather and define business requirements, manage backlog and prioritize initiatives.
• Prepare business cases, assess ROI, scope, risks and submit to approval gates.
• Plan and manage project timelines, budgets, stakeholders, risks and deliverables.
• Lead implementation, enhancement and sustainment projects for ERP localization in Brazil.
• Act as Product Owner for localization solutions, maintaining product roadmap, contracts and ticket monitoring.
• Collaborate with Finance, Tax, global Centers of Excellence and IT teams.
• Support Brazil’s Tax Reform implementation and special tax regimes.
• Drive rollout of Order‑to‑Cash (O2C) and Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) processes for new entities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, Accounting, Business Administration or related area; postgraduate IT degree is a plus.
• Advanced English proficiency for interaction with global teams.
• Strong knowledge of Brazilian tax legislation and ERP localization projects.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP or Epicor ERP platforms.
• Experience with Oracle E‑Business Suite.
• Familiarity with Thomson Reuters tax solutions (DFe, Taxone, OneSource, OSGT/GTM, Tax Analyser).
• Understanding of O2C and P2P business processes.
• Experience with system integrations and solution architecture.
