Purchasing Specialist

About the role

The Purchasing Specialist will support the Properties and Studio Development department by managing the procurement of equipment and services required by internal customers. You will ensure that purchases are sourced efficiently, comply with company policies, and meet quality and delivery expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with prospective suppliers, negotiate terms, monitor deliveries and verify quality standards.
• Prepare and assess tender requirements, coordinate collection of specifications.
• Maintain documentation for tenders, vendors and fiscal obligations.
• Support contract negotiation and preparation processes.
• Facilitate invoice approval and manage warranty claims, returns and supplier issues.
• Collaborate with the Purchasing Business Controller on supplier performance evaluation.
• Ensure compliance with purchasing and budgetary policies.
• Identify and recommend process automation and efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in equipment and services procurement.
• Higher education diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Willingness to travel to meet suppliers when required.
• High level of integrity and professional responsibility.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics Nav, Microsoft Dynamics Axapta or SAP.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
