Remote SAP MM-WM Support Engineer

About the role

Rimini Street, a global provider of enterprise software support for Oracle and SAP and a Salesforce and AWS partner, is hiring a Support Engineer for SAP MM-WM. This is a fully remote position open to anyone in Brazil, within its global customer support team. The engineer researches, troubleshoots and supports mission-critical SAP applications for clients running both 4.x and ECC environments, diagnosing serious issues and developing, testing and delivering fixes.

Key responsibilities

• Solve complex customer issues through methodical troubleshooting based on deep knowledge of SAP functionality and technology.
• Work closely with customers daily to understand their needs, support business change and deliver a high-quality experience.
• Configure, present and discuss best practices and functionalities of the SAP WM and MM modules.
• Share experience and best practices on client customizations.
• Develop or work with developers to deliver application break fixes for critical defects.
• Provide hands-on assistance using proprietary tools in a test environment or via remote client connectivity.
• Collaborate in a virtual team and contribute to knowledge-sharing methods and diagnostic tools.

Required profile

• 5 to 9 years of relevant SAP experience, especially with MM/WM modules.
• 5 to 9 years of direct support of application end-users in a corporate environment.
• Track record in SAP implementations, roll-outs or application support.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese; location in Brazil.
• Preferred: SAP certifications, consulting background, experience with localizations and global implementations.

Required skills

• Superb troubleshooting skills and strong analytical, logical problem-solving approach.
• Deep knowledge of SAP customization/extension methodologies and application tables and relationships.
• Excellent development skills with the SAP toolset.
• Knowledge of maintenance/patching mechanics and SAP architecture.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
