SAP MM/eWM Support Engineer (Evergreen)

About the role

Rimini Street, a global provider of enterprise software support and managed services for Oracle, SAP and VMware, is hiring a remote Support Engineer for SAP MM/eWM. The position is open to anyone in Brazil and involves providing remote support for mission-critical SAP applications, troubleshooting and delivering fixes for clients using both SAP 4.x and ECC environments.

Key responsibilities

• Solve complex customer issues through methodical troubleshooting of SAP applications.
• Work closely with customers daily to understand their needs, support business change and deliver a high-quality experience.
• Configure, present and discuss best practices for the SAP eWM and MM modules.
• Support client customizations and share best practices.
• Develop or work with developers to deliver application break fixes for critical defects.
• Use proprietary tools in a test environment or via remote client connectivity.
• Contribute to a 24x7x365 support organization, working flexible hours.
• Share knowledge, diagnostics and processes to improve the client experience.

Required profile

• 5+ years of relevant SAP experience, especially with MM/eWM modules.
• 5+ years of direct support of application end-users in a corporate environment.
• Proven experience with MM/eWM integration, troubleshooting and configuration, and with Brazil-specific localizations such as Nota Fiscal and tax calculations.
• Experience in highly customized environments (Z routines, user exits, enhancements).
• Track record in documentation and knowledge transfer (KT sessions, runbooks, solution docs).
• Background in SAP implementations, rollouts or application support.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
• Fluent English and Portuguese; Spanish is a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SAP MM/eWM, SAP 4.x and ECC, and of maintenance/patching mechanics and SAP architecture.
• Deep knowledge of application functionality, tables and relationships, and of customization and extension methods.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and remotely from a home office.

Preferred: knowledge of multiple SAP modules across releases, country-specific solutions, consulting background, and experience with localizations and global implementations. SAP certifications are preferred.
