Search Operations Quality Assurance Analyst – São Paulo

About the role

The Search Operations team safeguards our platform by reviewing and optimizing user searches to ensure a safe and positive experience. As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will evaluate diverse content, ranging from everyday media to potentially disturbing material, and help refine search strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections of data sets and projects, ensuring compliance with requirements and timely delivery.
• Exercise sound judgment on ambiguous cases, provide feedback, identify risks, and suggest improvements.
• Prioritize content safety and integrity while monitoring business progress and supporting product optimization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine policies, SOPs, and training materials for accurate data handling.
• Lead calibration meetings, analyze appeal cases, and propose solutions to enhance team performance.
• Deliver project metrics, perform data and root‑cause analysis, and develop action plans for performance reviews.
• Support additional tasks such as policy localisation, training, data inspection, and strategy evaluation.

Required profile

• Fluent English for collaboration with global partners and participation in English‑language meetings.
• Knowledge of search engines and familiarity with social media platforms.
• Flexibility to work on projects outside core expertise and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Availability for variable shift patterns, including evenings, nights, and weekends (five out of any seven days).
• Willingness to handle sensitive and potentially disturbing content.
• Preferred: experience in QA, moderation, AI annotation, market knowledge of target regions, and understanding of local internet usage habits.
