Semi-Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Félix is looking for a Semi‑Senior Software Engineer to join its fintech engineering team. You will own key projects, help design scalable payment and financial systems, and deepen your expertise in Python and Google Cloud Platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services using Python.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and scale payment and financial infrastructure.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code focused on performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a long‑term improvement mindset.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and deliver solutions.
• Use GCP services (Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Firestore, BigQuery) to create cloud‑native solutions.
• Participate in improving CI/CD pipelines and observability.

Required profile

• Experience beyond junior level, ready for increased technical responsibility.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to work independently.
• Comfortable collaborating in cross‑functional teams.
