Senior Forward Deployed Engineer – Fintech

About the role

Truelogic is seeking its first Forward Deployed Engineer to build automation capabilities for a leading home‑equity platform. The role sits within DevOps, works horizontally across the company, and turns ambiguous business problems into concrete technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Process Improvement, Product, DevOps, IT, Security and other functions to identify workflow problems.
• Map existing processes, stakeholders, handoffs and bottlenecks to uncover automation opportunities.
• Design, prototype, build and productionise automation solutions that integrate with internal systems, APIs and infrastructure.
• Communicate technical trade‑offs to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Own the full lifecycle from discovery through implementation without relying on predefined tickets.
• Participate in DevOps ceremonies while maintaining close collaboration with Process Improvement and Product teams.

Required profile

• Previous hands‑on experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer or an equivalent role.
• Strong software‑engineering background with a track record of delivering production‑quality solutions.
• Proven experience implementing workflow or process‑automation solutions.
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous environments and take ownership from prototype to production.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
