Senior Support Engineer, SAP FI-CO

About the role

Rimini Street, a global provider of enterprise software support for Oracle and SAP and a Salesforce and AWS partner, is hiring a Senior Support Engineer for SAP FI-CO. The role provides remote-based support for mission-critical SAP applications as part of a global customer support team, diagnosing serious issues and developing, testing and delivering fixes in complex, highly configured environments.

Key responsibilities

• Solve complex customer issues through methodical troubleshooting based on deep knowledge of SAP functionality and technology.
• Work closely with customers daily to understand their needs, support business change and deliver a high-quality experience.
• Provide remote functional support and training for specialist SAP modules, and share implementation and best practice advice on client customizations.
• Develop application break fixes for critical defects, create scripts to find and fix data issues, and act as technical/functional advisor for assigned accounts.
• Use proprietary tools in a test environment or via remote connectivity, and contribute to knowledge-sharing methods and diagnostic tools.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays, in a 24x7x365 support organization.

Required profile

• 10+ years of functional SAP experience with SAP FI, including SAP CO.
• Track record of roles in several SAP implementation or upgrade projects.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Fluent English; fluent Portuguese and English required, Spanish a plus.
• Ability to work independently and remotely from a home office.

Required skills

• Functional SAP FI/CO troubleshooting and client-facing support.
• Knowledge of S/4HANA, including full life-cycle implementation, configuration and administration.
• Knowledge of maintenance/patching mechanics and SAP architecture.
• Preferred: SAP certifications, ABAP debugging and troubleshooting, and experience with FSCM, RAR, Treasury, Asset Management and/or PS.
• Advantageous: knowledge of country-specific solutions, industry solutions, consulting background and global implementations.
