Senior Tax Analyst

About the role

Ausenco is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to join its Global Finance Team in Belo Horizonte. In this role you will support Brazilian tax activities while collaborating with regional and global teams, ensuring compliance and providing tax insights for business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate Brazilian tax compliance obligations, including direct and indirect taxes.
• Participate in tax reporting processes, such as tax provisions and group reporting.
• Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, payments, and documentation.
• Assist with tax audits, authority queries, and related documentation.
• Support implementation of Brazilian tax reform and related system changes.
• Deliver tax analysis and insights to support contracts and transactions.
• Facilitate collaboration between Finance, Legal, Commercial, and Operations on tax matters.
• Maintain strong tax governance, documentation, and process improvements.
• Participate in selected regional and global tax projects and initiatives.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in tax compliance, reporting, or advisory.
• Solid knowledge of Brazilian tax regulations (direct and indirect taxes).
• Experience with tax filings, audits, or reporting processes.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient English for communication with global teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Law, or a related field.
• Motivated, detail‑oriented professional eager to develop in a global environment.
