Software Engineer – Autonomous Revenue Operations

About the role

Commure is building an AI Operating System for healthcare and needs a Software Engineer to help automate revenue cycle management. You will work on autonomous backend systems that fix denied claims using AI and rule‑engine technology.

Key responsibilities

• Build LLM‑powered automation for claim denial resolution, including evaluation, dry‑run, and audit trails.
• Design safety guardrails such as identity checks, payer‑type restrictions, duplicate‑prevention, and QA gates.
• Scale a rule engine handling hundreds of configurable conditions per customer with full explainability.
• Create observability dashboards for approval rates, cycle times, and failure metrics.
• Generate automated appeal letters and medical‑record packets with validation scoring.
• Develop a unified automation console for operations teams.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a fast‑paced environment.
