Software Engineering Manager, People with Disabilities

About the role

Google is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers while championing inclusion for people with disabilities. The role is based in Brazil (Belo Horizonte or São Paulo) and combines technical leadership with people‑focused management.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical direction for large‑scale, distributed software projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 8 years of software development experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a technical leadership role and 2 years supervising a team.
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion, especially for people with disabilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python, C, C++, Java, and JavaScript.
• Experience designing and implementing large‑scale distributed systems.
