Sr. Associate Support Engineer, SAP MM/WM

About the role

Rimini Street, a global provider of enterprise software support for Oracle and SAP and a Salesforce and AWS partner, is hiring a remote Sr. Associate Support Engineer for its global customer support team. The position covers research, troubleshooting and support of multiple SAP modules for clients using both 4.x and ECC environments, and involves diagnosing serious issues and developing, testing and delivering fixes in complex, highly configured environments. It is open to anyone in Brazil.

Key responsibilities

• Solve customer issues through methodical troubleshooting based on expert knowledge of SAP functionality and technology.
• Work with customers daily to understand their needs, support business change and deliver a consistent high-quality experience.
• Present and discuss best practices and functionalities of the SAP WM and MM modules, and support client customizations.
• Develop or work with a developer to deliver application break fixes for critical product defects.
• Provide hands-on assistance using proprietary tools in a test environment or via remote client connectivity.
• Contribute to a 24x7x365 support organization, working flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays, and monitoring email outside normal hours.
• Collaborate in a virtual team and help build knowledge-sharing methods and diagnostic tools.

Required profile

• 2-3 years of relevant SAP experience, especially with MM/WM modules.
• 2-3 years supporting application end-users in a corporate environment.
• Working knowledge of supporting business processes and analytical, logical problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
• Fluency in both English and Portuguese.
• Preferred: SAP certification, knowledge of maintenance/patching mechanics and SAP architecture, and a consulting background.
