Staff Software Engineer - Mobile Platform

About the role

We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join Nubank's Mobile Platform team. In this senior technical leadership position you will help shape the core infrastructure that powers our high‑performing, stable mobile app used by millions of customers across Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain core mobile platform components that enable rapid feature delivery.
• Optimize app performance, scalability, and reliability across native and Flutter codebases.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to ensure seamless, high‑quality mobile experiences.
• Drive migration of legacy systems and implement server‑driven UI solutions.
• Provide observability, monitoring, and debugging tools for mobile teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing mobile applications at a strategic leadership level.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to explain complex concepts.
• Track record of delivering results in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.
