Supply Chain Planning Specialist – Service Parts & Dealers

About the role

Caterpillar is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Specialist to support dealer demand planning and forecasting for service parts and critical components. You will work closely with Caterpillar dealers to obtain detailed forecasts, collaborate on supply strategies, and deliver superior customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for multiple Service Parts & Dealers (PSLD) projects.
• Gather granular dealer forecasts and translate them into actionable supply plans.
• Manage inventory management (IM) processes, including Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) and fixed‑requirement procedures.
• Perform demand management, cost analysis, and strategic inventory stocking decisions.
• Participate in cross‑functional teams focused on critical component stocking.
