Support Engineer, SAP BW (Evergreen)

About the role

Rimini Street is hiring a remote Support Engineer for SAP BW (Evergreen) based in Brazil. The role provides expert remote support for mission-critical SAP BW environments across 4.x, ECC and HANA landscapes, focusing on BW architecture, data modeling, ETL, performance troubleshooting and integration within highly customized client systems. SAC knowledge is helpful but secondary.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP BW issues across data loads, InfoProviders, queries and performance.
• Partner with customers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality support.
• Support BW customizations and give best-practice recommendations.
• Develop and deliver fixes for BW defects and data integrity issues.
• Advise key accounts on BW technical and functional topics.
• Use proprietary tools and remote access to resolve issues in test and client environments.
• Participate in a 24x7x365 global support rotation with flexible work hours.
• Contribute to internal knowledge bases, diagnostic tools and process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of SAP experience with deep BW, Basis, NetWeaver and integration knowledge.
• Strong BW modeling, ETL, BEx and performance tuning background.
• Experience with major databases and OS platforms.
• Fluent Portuguese and English; Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to work from the office and remotely from a home-based office.
