Support Engineer, SAP PP-PM (Evergreen)

About the role

Rimini Street provides end-to-end support for Oracle, SAP and VMware software. As a remote-based Support Engineer for SAP PP-PM, you join a global customer support team and research, troubleshoot and support multiple SAP clients using both 4.x/ECC and the latest environments. The role requires strong communication skills for requirement gathering, reproducing production issues, stakeholder management, time tracking and SLA adherence.

Key responsibilities

• Level 3 support on incidents, problems, service requests, enhancements and small projects, including incident management, root cause analysis and documentation.
• Document existing configurations and master data changes, estimate and develop enhancements and integration projects, and write unit test scripts.
• Support UAT, cut-over and hyper-care, assess change requests and take over client support from incumbent vendors.
• Monitor alerts via Rimini Street or client tools, attend knowledge-sharing sessions and job-shadowing, and tune processes for continuous improvement.
• Comply with client IT processes, time tracking and geographic support timelines.

Required profile

• 5 to 9 years of experience; domain experience is good to have.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising or a related field.
• Fluent Portuguese and English; Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in teams, calmly in high-pressure situations, and to work remotely from a home office.

Required skills

• SAP PM and PP modules, including master data configuration, order/notification types, MTO/MTS repetitive manufacturing, PP-PI, PP-DS, batch management and integration with MM, SD, FICO, QM and IS-U.
• Reporting and data analysis with SE16/SE16N.
• Good to have: ABAP debugging, eCATT, LSMW, FIORI integration, ITIL v3/v4, ServiceNow, traditional and Agile project management.
