About the role
We are looking for an entrepreneurial, results‑driven Business Development Manager to lead our international trading activities in Brazil. Based in São Paulo with a home‑office setup, you will travel frequently to build relationships, negotiate deals and support market expansion.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and expand the company’s presence in the Brazilian market.
- Identify, prospect and build relationships with new customers and strategic partners.
- Conduct market research and uncover new business opportunities.
- Lead commercial negotiations and manage the full sales cycle.
- Represent the company with customers, suppliers and partners in Brazil.
- Support the creation and execution of the Brazil business plan.
- Collaborate with international headquarters on commercial strategies and market development initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities and growth opportunities.
- Attend industry trade shows, exhibitions and business events locally and internationally.
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities, sales pipeline and market opportunities.
- Coordinate shipments, import/export documentation and international logistics processes.
- Contribute to the growth of the Brazilian operation and future team development.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree completed.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in trading, import/export, international business or business development.
- Strong B2B commercial negotiation experience.
- Fluent English (mandatory) and availability for domestic and international travel.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently.
- Results‑oriented and proactive approach.
Required skills
- Practical knowledge of Incoterms.
- International logistics expertise.
- Shipping procedures and trade documentation handling.
