Corporate Lawyer – São Paulo

About the role

Clifford Chance is seeking corporate lawyers to join its São Paulo office. You will work within a market‑leading, locally based team handling a broad range of corporate transactions, including inbound and outbound M&A, joint ventures, private equity and venture capital deals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients on mergers and acquisitions, both inbound and outbound.
• Structure and negotiate joint venture agreements.
• Support private equity and venture capital transactions from inception to completion.
• Provide occasional finance advice in a smaller office environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Clifford Chance’s global network to deliver integrated solutions.

Required profile

• Stellar academic credentials and experience at a major London law firm.
• Excellent technical legal abilities and strong interpersonal skills.
• Preferably fluent in Portuguese, though not essential.
• 1‑3 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) preferred.
