AIOps Engineer

About the role

The AIOps Engineer joins the centralized AIOps platform team that designs, builds and operates a shared AIOps technology stack supporting IT Operations, SRE and Infrastructure teams. The role partners with downstream operations teams to deliver actionable alerts, intelligent event correlation and runbook automation, keeping the platform scalable, reliable and aligned to enterprise standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain a centralized AIOps platform that ingests metrics, logs, traces, events and tickets, with integrations to monitoring, ITSM, CI/CD and cloud platforms.
• Ensure platform scalability, resiliency and performance, and maintain standardized data models, entity definitions and service mappings.
• Define alerting requirements focused on actionability and business impact, and tune event correlation to reduce noise and group related events.
• Build runbook automation workflows and integrate alerts with automated actions and remediation, and embed AIOps outcomes into ITSM tools and collaboration platforms.
• Help teams move from manual responses to automated runbooks, gather use cases, prioritize work in the centralized backlog and enable self-service within governance.
• Provide guidance, documentation and best practices, monitor feature accuracy (anomaly detection, correlation, RCA) and incorporate feedback from incidents and operators.
• Contribute to platform roadmaps, technical standards and the long-term AIOps strategy, ensuring alignment with security, compliance and AI governance.

Required profile

• Intermediate Dynatrace experience (2-4 years).
• Entry-level Copilot Studio experience (1-2 years).
• Knowledge of ITIL foundations.
• Ability to act as a consultative partner to operations, SRE and platform teams.
