Product Analyst II - Utilities & CIS (LATAM Only)

About the role

DaCodes, a firm of experts in software and digital transformation, is looking for a Product Analyst II to connect business needs with technical execution and help development teams deliver well-defined product improvements. The product environment covers utility services, Customer Information Systems (CIS), billing processes and customer self-service portals. The position is open to candidates based in LATAM and requires advanced English.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyze and document business and technical requirements with stakeholders, Product Managers and technical teams.
• Translate requirements into user stories with acceptance criteria, business rules, dependencies and edge cases.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews and meetings to clarify stakeholder needs and objectives.
• Maintain and refine the product backlog with Product Owners and ensure stories are testable and traceable.
• Analyze processes and systems to find gaps and pain points, and help prioritize features by value, impact and feasibility.
• Work with development and QA teams to validate requirements against acceptance criteria and support sprint planning, backlog refinement and demos.
• Document workflows, requirements and agreed business rules.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience as a Product Analyst in a product or technology-driven environment.
• Proven experience gathering requirements and writing user stories and acceptance criteria in an Agile/Scrum framework.
• Familiarity with the utility industry, CIS billing systems or regulated markets; preferred: at least 2 years in utilities, CIS billing or self-service portals.
• Advanced spoken and written English.
• Based in LATAM.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of the SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Jira, Confluence, Trello or Azure DevOps.
• Preferred: SAP IS-U, Oracle CC&B, Oracle C2M, VXcis, meter-to-cash processes, customer portal features, API integrations, process modeling and wireframes.
