Data Analytics Intern (Hybrid)

About the role

Enova International, a financial technology company providing online financial services to non-prime consumers and small businesses, is looking for a Data Analytics Intern to join its Business team in São Paulo. The intern learns alongside analysts and helps turn data into insights, supporting areas such as Marketing, Credit and Collections. The role is hybrid, with in-office work Tuesday through Thursday and remote flexibility on Mondays and Fridays.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in building queries and routine analyses to answer business questions and support Marketing, Collections and Credit.
• Support the creation and maintenance of performance dashboards and reports, keeping them clear and up to date.
• Help document processes, code and analyses to facilitate teamwork.
• Shadow senior analysts and collaborate with Product, Operations and Business teams to understand metrics and business goals.
• Explore and learn new tools, techniques and methodologies under the mentorship of senior team members.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Economics or a related field.
• Basic knowledge or strong academic interest in Python or R.
• Familiarity with statistics concepts and curiosity about databases (SQL) and data manipulation.
• Intermediate to advanced English.
• Proactive, organized and eager to learn.
