Lower Elementary School Teacher

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Lower Elementary School Teacher to join our international school community. In this role you will create a nurturing, inclusive environment where young learners can thrive academically and socially.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging, age‑appropriate lesson plans across core subjects.
• Maintain a positive, structured classroom that supports learning and discipline.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Use varied teaching strategies and resources to keep students actively involved.
• Communicate regularly with parents through conferences and progress reports.
• Organise a welcoming, visually stimulating classroom environment.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience.
• Promote cultural sensitivity and celebrate diversity within the classroom.

Required profile

• Completed Teaching Degree (Licenciatura em Pedagogia).
• Preferably a Master’s degree.
• Proficiency in English, both oral and written.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar international school setting (preferred).
