Operations Team Lead, AI & Automation

About the role

Rakuten International, part of Rakuten Group, is looking for an Operations Team Lead to join its Operations Support team in Sao Paulo. The role analyzes detailed operational information for a variety of clients across the advertising network, performs quality audits and data reconciliation, applies network and advertiser rules to areas such as compliance monitoring and partnership quality analysis, trains others, directs tasks to junior team members and communicates with team management to estimate and ensure capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure operational tasks include capacity estimation aligned to business KPIs.
• Lead operations training for new team members.
• Monitor advertisers' information on websites and internal platforms using internal tools.
• Critically review and proofread website content, including articles, product descriptions and marketing materials, to ensure policy adherence, precise meaning and accurate data.
• Produce regular reports, independently or with the team, on time.
• Maintain and build ongoing audit templates and ad-hoc audit templates.
• Create and keep written documentation up to date.
• Collaborate with colleagues to resolve client-related challenges.

Required profile

• Upper-intermediate to advanced English with strong written accuracy.
• Detail-oriented, thorough and meticulous, able to handle large volumes of text under time pressure.
• Strong time management and self-organization, able to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to interpret complex documents and online policies accurately.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of HTML structure; ecommerce compliance is a plus.
• Training in HTML and ecommerce compliance is provided.
