Senior Kubernetes Technical Support Engineer (LATAM)

About the role

DaCodes, a software and digital transformation firm, is hiring a Senior Kubernetes Technical Support Engineer for a highly technical team supporting an enterprise AI vision platform running on Kubernetes and used for video analytics. This is a hands-on Tier 2 / Tier 3 support role focused on investigating and resolving complex issues across Kubernetes deployments, software, infrastructure, networking, hardware and configuration. The position is fully remote, with Latin America preferred and availability to work U.S. East Coast business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 / Tier 3 technical support to enterprise customers.
• Troubleshoot on-premises Kubernetes deployments, including software, infrastructure, hardware, networking, storage and configuration issues.
• Diagnose issues across Kubernetes clusters, containers, nodes, networking and underlying infrastructure.
• Reproduce customer environments and run tests to diagnose technical problems.
• Work directly with customers during technical discussions and troubleshooting sessions.
• Manage and resolve technical support tickets.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Sales and Customer Success teams, and escalate complex issues and product bugs to Engineering.
• Communicate technical findings, workarounds and resolutions clearly to customers.

Required profile

• 2+ years of technical support experience, preferably in Tier 2 / Tier 3 support.
• Experience working directly with customers in a technical capacity.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to independently investigate complex technical issues and collaborate with engineering teams.

Required skills

• Strong hands-on Kubernetes experience in production environments (on-premises or customer-managed infrastructure; managed cloud-only experience may not be sufficient).
• At least one relevant Kubernetes or cloud certification (CKA, CKAD, CKS, AWS, Azure or equivalent).
• Strong troubleshooting skills across software, infrastructure, networking, hardware and distributed environments.
• Nice to have: Linux troubleshooting, Kubernetes networking/storage/ingress/DNS, containers, monitoring, logging and observability, bare-metal servers, VMs, hybrid infrastructure, AWS/Azure, enterprise software support, and exposure to AI, computer vision or video analytics.
