Product Management Manager – Emerging Markets Acceptance

About the role

The Emerging Markets Acceptance Manager Lead (EMAML) will drive Mastercard’s strategy to grow SME, MSME and micro‑seller card acceptance across Latin America. You will coordinate commercial efforts, align with the Global Acceptance Wallet strategy, and champion merchant adoption of digital payment solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the acceptance strategy for SMEs, MSMEs and micro‑sellers in the LAC region.
• Collaborate with global and local teams to deliver sales‑enablement programs and targeted initiatives.
• Provide ecosystem expertise, identify product opportunities and shape product‑management priorities.
• Monitor and evolve the micro‑merchant program based on performance data.
• Track acceptance location growth using reporting systems and transactional data to inform strategic decisions.
• Create executive‑level and customer‑facing narratives supported by strong analytics.
• Maintain cross‑functional relationships to ensure alignment with global, regional and market priorities.

Required profile

• Deep experience and knowledge of acceptance and acquiring business.
• Market‑development mindset with a track record of solving customer challenges.
• Proven ownership of product‑management and business‑development objectives.
• Strong analytical capabilities.
