SAP Analytics Engineer (Datasphere)

About the role

FBS (Farmer Business Services), a recruitment partner of Farmers, is hiring an SAP Data Analyst / SAP Analytics Engineer focused on SAP Datasphere. The role bridges raw data and business operations, managing, extracting and interpreting data in SAP environments to optimise performance, ensure data integrity and support executive decisions. Capgemini acts as Employer of Record, handling local payroll and benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high-level expertise in the design and functionality of business applications, reviewing and validating technical designs supplied by suppliers and performing quality reviews of project deliverables.
• Analyse application changes and their impact across components, and validate supplier estimates.
• Support implementation activities, troubleshoot system environmental issues and provide training as required.
• Query SAP modules such as SAP HANA, SAP BW or SAP S/4HANA to pull and compile business datasets, and maintain, audit and update master data.
• Turn raw SAP metrics into visual insights with tools such as Power BI, Tableau or SAP Analytics Cloud, and investigate and fix data quality and data drift issues.

Required profile

• Hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere (or SAP Data Warehouse Cloud).
• Understanding of SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA and Business Technology Platform (BTP) services.
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud reporting.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SQL, with additional knowledge of Python and ELT frameworks.
• Familiarity with integrating cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake or Azure.
