Senior Business Analyst (Insurance) - Fully Remote

About the role

CoverGo is a global no-code insurance platform for health, life and property & casualty insurance, working with enterprise clients such as AXA, Bupa and MSIG. It is looking for a fully remote Senior Business Analyst to work with clients and technical teams on business problems and analytical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify business problems with clients and technical resources and propose analytical solutions
• Plan and design business processes and system modifications, and gather and document complex requirements through interviews and workshops
• Create test cases, oversee testing and help support QA, UAT and release phases through defect analysis and change maintenance
• Write business requirement documents and user stories, and update process and procedural documentation
• Monitor the work of other business analysts, give time estimates for project tasks and provide actionable insights from systems and data
• Support the technical development cycle of mobile apps or web portals and perform any other assigned tasks

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Degree in Business, IT or a relevant field
• Previous experience in the insurance industry is required
• Health insurance domain certification from INS/LOMA or III is an added advantage

Required skills

• Requirements definition, translation to technical solutions and Agile prioritization of work to epics and sprints
• Facilitation, process documentation, requirements gathering and user acceptance testing
• Agile and/or Scrum experience is a must
• English written and verbal communication; technical writing is a plus
