Senior Director Finance Data & Analytics

About the role

FBS (Farmer Business Services), part of Farmers Insurance operations, is hiring a Senior Director Finance Data & Analytics through its partner Capgemini, which acts as Employer of Record. The role leads a newly established team that strengthens enterprise decision-making with timely, accurate and forward-looking financial and operational insights. It covers advanced modeling, actuarial analysis, predictive analytics and statistical techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Direct the development and implementation of advanced modeling techniques to optimize finance strategies and support profitable revenue growth.
• Lead technical analysis of market intelligence, predictive modeling and pricing assumptions, and set analytics philosophies aligned with financial objectives.
• Adjust finance strategies based on performance metrics and market demands, and apply knowledge of business drivers to inform annual financial plans (rate activity, policies in force, revenue growth, loss trends).
• Oversee financial projections and scenario analyses, using predictive analytics to generate accurate forecasts.
• Develop customer behavior segmentation and targeting strategies, and use actuarial analysis to guide product development and innovation.
• Drive data-driven strategies for customer retention and loyalty, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve customer experience.
• Analyze performance metrics for direct marketing and media investments, and build team capabilities in data analytics, predictive modeling and actuarial analysis.

Required profile

• 9+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Full English fluency.
• Degree in actuarial science, data science, mathematics, statistics or a related field; a Master's is desirable.
• Mandatory insurance and pricing experience.
• Fellowship from a recognized actuarial body (e.g., FCAS or equivalent local credential) is required.
• Valid local authorization to work in the country where the role is based.

Required skills

• Programming: Python, SQL, R, data visualization tools.
• Predictive analysis, modeling and analytical skills.
• AI knowledge, automation, and familiarity with LLMs, Copilot and Claude (a plus).
• Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
