About the role
Double is building an all‑in‑one tool for bookkeepers and accountants, helping small‑business clients make smarter decisions. We are looking for a senior full‑stack engineer based in Brazil to accelerate product development and improve the experience for our growing user base.
Key responsibilities
- Ship software to production on a daily basis using coding agents.
- Influence user experience through product engineering decisions.
- Collaborate with a high‑performing Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) team.
Required profile
- Proven track record of delivering systems that solve hard problems, not just meeting deadlines.
- High agency: identifies needs and drives work forward without waiting for direction.
- 4+ years of demonstrable experience architecting and developing applications with Node and TypeScript.
Required skills
- Node.js, Express, TypeScript, ES6
- React, Redux Toolkit, React Query (TypeScript)
- TypeORM, Postgres
- Familiarity with TanStack Query (optional)
