Senior Software Engineer - Golang

About the role

Stone & Company is hiring a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Go, working remotely. The role covers developing and maintaining new features, keeping systems critical to the company's operations running, and improving the architecture and development process.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain new features
• Develop systems critical to the company's operations
• Monitor system performance and the deployment of system changes
• Document implemented changes
• Create and maintain production systems, considering performance, scalability, security, availability, reliability, resilience and integration with the application ecosystem
• Identify gaps in the architecture and development process and propose solutions
• Conduct code and documentation inspections
• Implement automated tests
• Collaborate with the team during code reviews, highlighting best practices and potential improvements

Required profile

• Ability to identify gaps in the architecture and development process and propose solutions
• Knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, containerization and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes
• Ability to collaborate with the team during code reviews

Preferred skills

• Public and private cloud platforms such as OpenStack, AWS, Azure and Google Cloud
• Messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ, Kafka and IBM MQ
• Microservices patterns, event sourcing, CQRS, hexagonal and lambda architectures
• Relational and non-relational data modeling
• CI/CD tools and GitHub Actions
• Elixir
• Interest in the financial services market
