Senior Software Engineer – .NET

About the role

Stone & Company is hiring a full-time, remote Senior Software Engineer working with .NET. The role leads the planning, execution and prioritization of complex problems related to financial-sector and/or engineering-platform products, and acts as a reference point for technical decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution and prioritization of complex problems in the financial sector and/or engineering platform products
• Serve as a reference point for decisions on solution details
• Help the team solve problems with undefined scope and work with cross-functional teams to foster collaboration
• Give suggestions and constructive feedback, share technical knowledge and contribute to technical decisions
• Independently define and deliver technical roadmaps for larger projects, often with dependencies across teams

Required profile

• Software development with C#
• Ability to produce clean, maintainable code
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Kanban and/or Scrum
• Knowledge of public and private clouds such as Azure and Google Cloud (a plus)
• Interest in the financial market (a plus)

Required skills

• C#, algorithms and data structures, design patterns and SOLID principles
• Unit and integration testing, Git and GitFlow
• Docker and containerization
• Observability tools such as Elasticsearch and Datadog
• Relational and non-relational data modeling (a plus)
• CI/CD tools and Azure DevOps (a plus)
• Plus: messaging systems (Service Bus, RabbitMQ, Kafka), microservices, Event Sourcing, CQRS, Hexagonal Architecture
