Senior Technical Consultant – MuleSoft Integration

About the role

Salesforce’s MuleSoft Professional Services team is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant to design and deliver AI‑enabled integration solutions using the Anypoint Platform. You will work directly with customers and partners to solve complex business challenges and build the next generation of Agentic Architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop Mule applications (APIs, flows, DataWeave, MUnit, error handling) based on the Technical Architect’s design.
• Implement canonical contracts, saga, idempotency, async and event‑driven patterns.
• Convert MuleSoft APIs into discoverable assets using MCP to enable AI agents to browse and act.
• Build secure cross‑domain communication with the A2A Protocol for autonomous agents.
• Produce design notes, technical documentation, runbooks, test evidence and deployment artifacts.
• Collaborate with customer technical teams, MuleSoft architects and other stakeholders to unblock delivery.
• Operate in cloud, on‑premise or hybrid environments, troubleshooting across Dev/Test/Prod.
• Track time, status and risk according to the Engagement Manager’s cadence.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on Mule 4 development delivering production integrations.
• Active MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1 (or willingness to certify within 30 days).
• Proven end‑to‑end integration project delivery from requirements to deployment.
• Strong knowledge of DataWeave 2.x, RAML/OAS, MUnit and connectors (HTTP, Salesforce, JMS, DB).
• Experience with CloudHub, API Manager policies and Anypoint Exchange.
• Ability to work independently within a delivery team.
