Data Engineer (Snowflake) – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a Data Engineer specialized in Snowflake to design and build scalable ELT pipelines and data models. The role bridges raw data sources with actionable insights, enabling high‑performance analytics for our global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimise ELT workflows using Snowflake and dbt for large‑scale datasets.
• Develop and maintain modular data models applying software‑engineering best practices, including version control and automated testing.
• Orchestrate data pipeline dependencies and schedules with Apache Airflow to ensure data freshness and reliability.
• Write and tune high‑performance SQL queries leveraging Snowflake’s architecture.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements, schema designs and quality standards.
• Monitor pipeline health, identify bottlenecks and resolve issues to ensure continuous data delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in data engineering, focusing on modern data stack solutions.
• Proven expertise building and optimising ELT pipelines and data models in Snowflake.
• Strong proficiency with dbt for data transformation.
• Hands‑on experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
• Advanced SQL skills for complex data extraction and transformation.
• Fluent English communication skills.
