Recruiter – Hiring A-Players

About the role

ARQ is a fast-growing fintech that builds the infrastructure for moving value across borders. It is looking for a recruiter in Sao Paulo to hire top talent alongside the co-founders and the executive team, working closely with them to shape roles and seniority levels.

Key responsibilities

• Hire A-players: work with leadership to calibrate roles and seniorities, hire the best talent and create hiring playbooks.
• Act like a founder: go beyond the defined scope and priorities, taking ownership and getting your hands dirty.
• Track pipelines and conversion rates, using the data to continuously improve how the company hires.
• Sell the vision: represent ARQ to candidates and tell its story in a way that attracts top talent.
• Act with urgency: move quickly on great candidates without compromising quality.
• Help design scalable processes, tools and rituals that turn the talent team into a world-class machine.
• Iterate weekly on outreach, interviews and processes.

Required profile

• Proven track record of hiring A-players in a fast-paced environment.
• Precise sourcing skills, not relying only on inbound applicants.
• Ability to use LinkedIn and the current team's network to find candidates.
• Strong interpersonal skills and high EQ, able to understand what drives candidates and assess cultural fit.
• Excellent organisation skills, managing the candidate funnel with attention to detail and due diligence.
• Ability to work well in a team, with a relentless drive and a track record as a proven closer.
