Associate Consultant, Advanced Analytics

About the role

IQVIA is looking for an Associate Consultant in its Advanced Analytics team in São Paulo. The team works with real-world patient data to help clients answer key business questions and make better decisions, using advanced analytics, machine learning algorithms and technology platforms for applications such as finding undiagnosed patients with rare conditions, predicting patient behaviour and understanding diagnosis and treatment journeys.

Key responsibilities

• Research clients' business problems and propose solutions through the team's offerings, supporting proposals and client pitches
• Work with internal stakeholders so that the proposed solution is innovative and offers clear value to clients
• Support the design and delivery of advanced statistical and machine learning projects such as predictive modelling, patient journeys, HCP targeting and HCP alerts
• Translate clients' business needs into statistical methodologies with senior consultants and data scientists, and deliver findings in clinically and commercially meaningful interpretations
• Proactively and independently manage agreed tasks and timelines
• Support internal initiatives such as project automation and standardisation, team building and the execution of new offerings

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field
• 2-4 years of professional experience
• Nice to have: healthcare/life sciences experience, SQL and/or Python, machine learning or GenAI exposure, and experience with patient-level healthcare data
